NOVEMBER!
We will continue our musical interludes with ANCIENT GREECE and ROME - after an intermission (Thanksgiving) we will begin looking at an early Republic in the boot of Italy that would eventually conquer most of the Mediterranean world. Between the Roman Empire and the Greek Civilization, we will begin to see the birth of WESTERN CIVILIZATION.....

REMEMBER - READING QUESTIONS will be passed out each week and will be due at the beginning of class EACH MONDAY. Here are the reading assignments for NOVEMBER...

WEEKLY - until Christmas Break you will be required to have 10 notecards with 10 facts on your topic EACH THURSDAY! You must have your THESIS STATEMENT (typed - and your OWN copy) handy when I check your notecards, and remember to have a BIBLIOGRAPHY CARD for each fact you find.
Remember there is only ONE WAY to earn your 10 points each week - you MUST have 10 notecards each week. Otherwise, it is a zero.
IF you fall behind, you do not owe me 10, but 10 PLUS what you owed me the week(s) before...stay on top of your research, folks!
