We will continue our musical interludes with ANCIENT GREECE and ROME - after an intermission (Thanksgiving) we will begin looking at an early Republic in the boot of Italy that would eventually conquer most of the Mediterranean world. Between the Roman Empire and the Greek Civilization, we will begin to see the birth of WESTERN CIVILIZATION.....

THREE MORE WEEKS - YOU SHOULD BE FINISHING UP YOUR RESEARCH for the NHD project - if you have not started yet, begin assorting your cards in your notecard box according to your outline. Follow the NOTECARD COMPILATION ASSIGNMENT rubric for your organization.
Remember there is only ONE WAY to earn your 10 points each week - you MUST have 10 notecards each week. Otherwise, it is a zero - stay on top of your research, folks!
